5 Stars Awesome Little Gadget
I love this wireless transmitter. My car didn’t come equipped with a built-in iPod dock. I found out it would cost me about $400 - $500 to have it installed — if I could even find one for my car. After doing some online research, I came across this bluetooth transmitter. I ordered this as well as a bluetooth speaker that attaches to my visor. The bluetooth speaker allows me to transmit over my car stereo. So, all I do is plug this wireless transmitter into my iPod, turn it and my bluetooth speaker on, and I’ve got my iPod music playing through my car stereo.
I love it! It’s easy to use — it plugs into your iPod just as easy as it is to plug your iPod into its charging base. I would imagine this would also allow you to transmit your iPod through other bluetooth devices, such as headsets. It doesn’t seem to use a lot of extra power either.
5 Stars Holy Rinse Cycle, Batman!
Just got this Sony BT transmitter a while ago, works great as expected. What was NOT expected, though, was that after I mistakenly left it in my shirt pocket (it’s tiny!), and my wife put the shirt in with the rest of our laundry, it went through the complete Rinse/wash/Spin cycles in the washer, AND the complete Dryer cycle!
I discovered the Sony transmitter at the bottom of the dryer after the clothes were out. Oh NO, I said to myself, now I have to order a whole new one! Well, first let’s see if it’s trashed.
With trepidation, I plugged it into an iPod, fired up the Bluetooth pairing and IT STILL WORKED FLAWLESSLY!!!!
Unbelievable! A tribute to Sony engineering!

I purchased this in a combo package,with a set of Sony DRBT22 headsets,the headsets lasted 6 months and broke on me,but for those 6 months this adapter worked flawless great product,i ordered another headset not the same ones that broke,one thing to note this adapter is very small,it is real easy to lose.

Just received my adapter today. I opted for the standard shipping and it still arrived in about 4 days which I was very pleased about. Opened it up and connected instantly to my Chatterbox system in my motorcycle helmet. There was an issue with the package not listing iPod Classic in the compatibility but it works great with the Classic! So easy to use and it is very small, it even fits in the dock connector while in my case. I am very pleased with this purchase.
4 Stars blue tooth adapter
this product has worked pretty well for me so far. when running outside it will cut out at times, possibly due to the radio wave lengths used in germany. but overall the product works well, especially when in the gym. i have had no issues in the gym as long as i keep the headphones fully charged before i go.
